Business Development Sr. Contracts Representative

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and business-related agreements, ensuring they align with company objectives and legal requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations, to facilitate contract execution and address any contractual issues or concerns promptly.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, tracking key milestones, deadlines, and compliance requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.
4. Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and aligned with organizational needs.
5. Recommend and implement best practices for contract management processes, driving efficiency, reducing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
6. Support the resolution of contract disputes by collaborating with internal teams and external legal counsel to address and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. Develop, maintain, and optimize contract templates and standard terms, ensuring consistency and streamlining the contract execution process across the organization.
8. Analyze contract terms for potential liabilities, penalties, and exposure to risk, proposing revisions or mitigation strategies as necessary to protect the company’s interests.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the contract management function by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and optimize contract lifecycle management.
10. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive in its contract processes.
11. Support the implementation of contract management software and systems to improve workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy.
