What You Will Do
The Business Development Manager is a key role reporting directly to the Global Business Development Leader. You will be based in Riyadh and work closely with all the local Fire Detection team helping them to achieve their business objectives by creating demand from the specification stage of relevant projects.
The main goal of this role is to identify and develop solutions, define vertical markets, and new opportunities, developing strategic initiatives with highly visible, prestigious customers such as end users, consultants, contractors, and A&E. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers to promote the demand for Fire Detection products in any market.
Part of your daily activity will be related to expanding brand awareness alongside the territory. Hence, you will prepare and deliver high-quality technical seminars/presentations, product demonstrations to consultants, developers, and end users, and recommend viable solutions for their project requirements. Therefore, a strong technical background is required.

How You Will Do It
As a Business Development Manager, you will use in-depth technical knowledge of Fire Detection products and facilitate initiatives for the team, consultants, developers, and end users on design and specification.
You will liaise with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support resources to ensure that proposals and feature requests include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, in line with Johnson Controls, Inc. product strategies.
You will develop necessary design, technical, and marketing tools to support clients on existing and new products.
In order to improve forecast accuracy, you will maintain a record of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases.
You are a hunter driven to seek and develop strong customer relationships, self-motivated, enjoying the challenge of working independently to drive your territory growth. You're naturally perseverant, tenacious, and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
