The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the patient base for a specialized multinational diabetes care clinic in Riyadh. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to develop and execute marketing, sales, and outreach strategies to position the clinic as a premier provider of diabetes care services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Representation & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary representative of the company in dealings with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other governmental bodies to ensure compliance and strategic collaboration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to secure favorable agreements and ensure smooth patient coverage.
Develop partnerships with healthcare providers, hospitals, NGOs, and corporate organizations to enhance service offerings and referral networks.
Stay updated on healthcare regulations, policies, and industry trends to ensure compliance and align business strategies accordingly.
2. Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and implement a business development plan to increase patient inflow and expand clinic outreach.
Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and corporate wellness programs.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
3. Sales & Marketing
Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the clinic's online and offline presence, including digital marketing, social media, and community engagement.
Organize health awareness programs, events, and corporate health initiatives to promote diabetes care services.
4. Revenue & Financial Growth
Identify and pursue opportunities to increase service offerings and revenue streams.
Work with finance and operations teams to ensure cost-effective service delivery and competitive pricing models.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and revenue generation.
5. Operational Support
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery aligned with business goals.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and service offerings.
Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
Skills
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA in healthcare business development is a plus.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the healthcare industry
Prior experience working with clinics, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or insurance providers is preferred.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of healthcare services.
Knowledge of health insurance policies, medical partnerships, and patient referral systems.
Familiarity with government healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
