JOB PURPOSE
Develop and execute strategic plans for long-term business growth of Sri Lanka at the level of products, applications, and customers. Lead Polymers business development activity in Sri Lanka, which includes identifying new business opportunities, developing client contacts, and evaluating their needs and feedback this to SABIC. Optimize business operating model, ensure compliance, manage credit risk and drive collaborations across supporting functions including Business Units, Market Development & Technical Marketing, Supply chain, Sustainability, Communications, Tax, Legal, Finance to achieve SABIC strategic priorities. Enterprising & influential communicator to help build partnerships and achieve consensus across stakeholders. Represent SABIC as the Country Leader for all SABIC businesses.
Job Responsibilities
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymers, or a business-related discipline. 5-10 years of experience in marketing and sales of Polymers and/or petrochemical related industrial products. Fundamental knowledge of Polymer or Petrochemical related product sales in Sri Lanka market. Technical knowledge and skills are a plus. Business oriented with good sense of agility and prioritization. Resourcefulness as a "hunter role" to discover new opportunities and drive sales growth for Sri Lanka. Strong analysis, problem-solving and negotiating & Client management skills. Competitive product and deep market analysis expertise.
