Job Description
We are seeking a multifaceted and dynamic Sales & Business Development professional, with added skills in customer solutioning to drive both revenue growth and solution development for Bosch Digital Twin Industries solutions, powered by AI and Physics-based modeling. The ideal candidate will blend strong sales and business development skills with the ability to understand client challenges and lead solution-oriented conversations. This role requires experience in selling high-tech industrial solutions, especially within sectors like energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities, and an ability to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions to customers.


In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks and topics:


  1. Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to position our Bosch Digital Twin Industries solutions across target industries.
  2. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through client outreach, networking, and industry events.
  3. Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including conducting product demos, negotiations, and contract finalization.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (C-level executives, technical leaders, etc.), addressing their business needs and positioning our solutions to solve critical pain points.
  5. Achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets in assigned regions or industry verticals.
  6. Responsible for planning assessment of assets at site, on-site technical discussions, holding conversation with different stakeholders & technical content creation for the proposal build.
  7. Act as the bridge between customers and internal technical teams to ensure that solutions meet the specific needs of clients, combining AI and physics-based modeling for asset performance management.
  8. Work closely with customers to understand their challenges with static and rotating equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) and provide customized digital solutions to enhance asset reliability and performance.
  9. Serve as a technical liaison, translating complex customer requirements into actionable project plans that internal teams can execute.
  10. Create high-level solution map, statement of work, scoping, assumptions, deliverables, and risks that can be translated into a Digital Twin - IAPM solution offering, beginning with on-site data collection and ending with the generation of actionable insights by harmonizing multiple engineering streams on a single platter.
  11. Create solutions for industrial machines to enlighten customers on how data, AI, ML, simulations and first principles would work for them towards "Reliability Centric Maintenance" & "Total Productive Maintenance" to achieve desired business outcomes.
  12. Utilize your domain and technical expertise to understand client business objectives and translate them to Digital Twin - IAPM product features and capabilities & provide transfer learning to the Solution Ecosystem (SES) group.
  13. Define and provide consistent feedback on bringing in the technology and product upgrades to the SES group.

Qualifications


Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA or technical certifications (such as in IoT or AI) are a plus.


Preferred Skills:


  1. Familiarity with technologies like IoT, AI/ML, and Physics-based modeling (e.g., CFD, FEA).
  2. Experience in crafting solution proposals and collaborating with technical teams for customer delivery.
  3. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess business development strategies and optimize customer engagement.
  5. 6-12 years of experience in sales, business development, and customer solutions, with a focus on B2B technology or industrial solutions.
  6. Proven experience in successfully selling Digital Twin, Asset Performance Management, AI-powered solutions, AR/VR technologies or similar complex technologies.
  7. Strong understanding of industrial processes, asset management, and predictive maintenance, particularly for static and rotating equipment.
  8. Technical acumen to communicate the benefits of AI and physics-based simulations in solving real-world industry problems.
  9. Experience working within sectors such as oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or utilities.
  10. Have a pioneering spirit and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team with a high degree of personal responsibility and creative freedom.
  11. Exceptional ability to build and foster relationships at various organizational levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  12. Have a high sense of responsibility, are reliable and a team player. You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality.
  13. Have an analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
  14. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  15. Ability to travel as required to meet clients, participate in events, and manage relationships.
