Job Description
We are seeking a multifaceted and dynamic Sales & Business Development professional, with added skills in customer solutioning to drive both revenue growth and solution development for Bosch Digital Twin Industries solutions, powered by AI and Physics-based modeling. The ideal candidate will blend strong sales and business development skills with the ability to understand client challenges and lead solution-oriented conversations. This role requires experience in selling high-tech industrial solutions, especially within sectors like energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities, and an ability to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks and topics:
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to position our Bosch Digital Twin Industries solutions across target industries.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through client outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including conducting product demos, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (C-level executives, technical leaders, etc.), addressing their business needs and positioning our solutions to solve critical pain points.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets in assigned regions or industry verticals.
- Responsible for planning assessment of assets at site, on-site technical discussions, holding conversation with different stakeholders & technical content creation for the proposal build.
- Act as the bridge between customers and internal technical teams to ensure that solutions meet the specific needs of clients, combining AI and physics-based modeling for asset performance management.
- Work closely with customers to understand their challenges with static and rotating equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) and provide customized digital solutions to enhance asset reliability and performance.
- Serve as a technical liaison, translating complex customer requirements into actionable project plans that internal teams can execute.
- Create high-level solution map, statement of work, scoping, assumptions, deliverables, and risks that can be translated into a Digital Twin - IAPM solution offering, beginning with on-site data collection and ending with the generation of actionable insights by harmonizing multiple engineering streams on a single platter.
- Create solutions for industrial machines to enlighten customers on how data, AI, ML, simulations and first principles would work for them towards "Reliability Centric Maintenance" & "Total Productive Maintenance" to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Utilize your domain and technical expertise to understand client business objectives and translate them to Digital Twin - IAPM product features and capabilities & provide transfer learning to the Solution Ecosystem (SES) group.
- Define and provide consistent feedback on bringing in the technology and product upgrades to the SES group.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA or technical certifications (such as in IoT or AI) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with technologies like IoT, AI/ML, and Physics-based modeling (e.g., CFD, FEA).
- Experience in crafting solution proposals and collaborating with technical teams for customer delivery.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess business development strategies and optimize customer engagement.
- 6-12 years of experience in sales, business development, and customer solutions, with a focus on B2B technology or industrial solutions.
- Proven experience in successfully selling Digital Twin, Asset Performance Management, AI-powered solutions, AR/VR technologies or similar complex technologies.
- Strong understanding of industrial processes, asset management, and predictive maintenance, particularly for static and rotating equipment.
- Technical acumen to communicate the benefits of AI and physics-based simulations in solving real-world industry problems.
- Experience working within sectors such as oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or utilities.
- Have a pioneering spirit and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team with a high degree of personal responsibility and creative freedom.
- Exceptional ability to build and foster relationships at various organizational levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
