Business Development Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Engineer with a strong passion for reaching out to potential clients. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and expanding our ALDour MEP & Fire Systems Contracting & Maintenance services and products. Your main objective will be to achieve annual growth targets and fulfill customer requisitions.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Familiar with Construction projects of MEP & Fire Systems in commercial & industrial sectors.
3. Marketing Experience.
4. Ability to understand Engineering design drawings.
5. Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for acquiring new project business leads and sales for the company.
2. Planning and overseeing of new marketing initiatives, researching new clients to find new opportunities.
3. Coordinate meetings with clients, operations team, and the BD team as and when required.
4. Develop quotes and proposals for the clients.
5. Prepare and follow up on proposals, agreements, or any supporting documents & registrations prepared for clients.
6. Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, processing information, completing paperwork, and filing documents or any other needs of the BD department team.
7. Liaise between the Technical team and the Operations team to provide the most suitable service to client needs, cost, and time restraints.
8. Coordinate with tenders and pricing in the process of preparing and delivering presentations according to the specifications and standards in the company.
9. Prepare reports on progress within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve.
10. Maintain all records of proposals and track activities throughout the department.
11. Prepare reports pertaining to pipeline, submitted proposals, achieved targets periodically and as when requested.
