Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Thales has been selected to supply major electronic systems for air defence and the Group also supplied communication and optronic systems for the Army, the Saudi Arabia National Guards and the Air Force.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To manage the digital account in Saudi Arabia (i.e. SDAIA & SCAI), supporting Thales to meet customer expectations and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure adherence of personal behaviours to Company key values.
  2. Foster team working, serving as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  3. Properly represent the Company in front of the assigned key accounts, promoting the full Company portfolio through the involvement of the commercial and technical Company central functions.
  4. Acquire a thorough understanding of assigned key accounts' needs and requirements.
  5. Qualify all potential opportunities that could be followed with the assigned key customers, determining scope and plan to comply and satisfy their needs.
  6. Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to key customers in a timely manner.
  7. Travel, as needed, to industry events, prospect and partner sites, handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences.
  8. Provide the needed contribution to prepare the annual budgets, in close cooperation with all concerned company functions.
  9. Prepare and constantly update the key account plans.
  10. Achieve the annual objectives assigned in terms of Orders Intakes for assigned key customers.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in managing customers from commercial and operative standpoints is required.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Engineering Degree or MSc. Eng.

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Successful previous experience (5+ years track record) covering commercial roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  1. Good team player, willing to deal with all kinds of problems in a solutions-oriented manner.
  2. Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels.
  3. Must possess competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity and initiative.
  4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, demonstrating familiarity with CRM tools.
  5. Experience designing and presenting technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  6. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  7. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  8. Excellent attention to detail.
