Your role and responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry-leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation solutions.
- IBM Automation Solution Design: Define practical IBM Automation and Cloud solutions that enhance existing technology stacks, with emphasis on key technologies, like HashiCorp Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, and RedHat solutions.
- Proof of Value Delivery: Provide proof of concepts and simplify technical concepts to ensure client comprehension.
- Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals.
- Opportunity Progression: Augment and assist sales teams with strategic opportunities, from discovery through to closure. Provide consultative advice on identity-related solutions.
- Technical Advocacy: Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers. Understand and articulate business value and ROI for identity solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Business Goal Translation: Translating business goals into technical solutions through collaborative teamwork.
- Stakeholder Influence: Utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence diverse senior stakeholders within enterprises.
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing HashiCorp solutions.
- Experience with IAM tools and systems, such as Microsoft Identity Manager, Okta, Ping, or IBM Identity Solutions.
- Experience with RedHat Ansible.
- Excellent communication and project administration skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Technology Project Demonstration Skills: Expertise in multi-faceted complex security technology projects.
- Strong Security Concept Expertise: Know, understand, and be able to translate IAM related security needs into practical solutions to solve those problems.
This is a solution-oriented, hands-on position.
