About the Role:

As a BIM Modeler, you'll play a pivotal role in the design and execution of this iconic museum project. Your expertise in BIM modeling will ensure that every detail is captured and integrated flawlessly, supporting the smooth progression from concept to completion. You'll be working alongside talented architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create a model that will serve as the backbone of the entire project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Modeling for the Future: Create precise BIM models based on design documents, integrating every detail into the digital model to support the construction process.
2. Drafting Excellence: Generate general arrangement plans, diagrams, sections, elevations, and schedules in Revit to support the design team and ensure flawless construction execution.
3. Template and Family Creation: Design and modify project templates, custom Revit Families, and shared parameters to meet project-specific needs.
4. Collaborative Coordination: Work with the BIM team to coordinate and integrate models from all disciplines, performing clash detection and resolving any issues that arise.
5. Simulate Success: Create 4D and 5D simulations from BIM models using Navisworks Manage to visualize project timelines, resources, and costs.
6. Quality Control: Maintain high standards for modeling, ensuring work meets the highest quality and is ready for client submission.
7. Site & Design Integration: Assist in incorporating design changes, respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), and ensure accuracy in the as-built documents.
8. Monitor and Report: Oversee the production of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and documentation for submission, ensuring everything aligns with project standards.
9. Support Subcontractors: Guide subcontractors in adding data to final LOD 500 models and ensure compliance with BIM standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

1. Technical Expertise: A Technical Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. BIM Mastery: At least 5-6 years of experience in construction design using BIM, with a deep understanding of Revit and Navisworks (Manage, Simulate & Freedom).
3. Software Savvy: Expertise in Dynamo, advanced knowledge of MS Office, and experience with Adobe Acrobat for document management.
4. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring seamless project execution.
5. Multidisciplinary Knowledge: A solid foundation in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
6. Attention to Detail: You're dedicated to delivering quality work, getting it right the first time, and ensuring all elements are aligned and accurate.
7. Time Management: You're able to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.
