Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to food safety standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize labor and ingredient use, reducing waste.
- Train and mentor baking staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of raw materials to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create seasonal product lines and promotional strategies.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profit margins.
- Implement and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, ensuring product offerings align with market trends.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Lead team meetings to review goals, address challenges, and celebrate successes in the bakery.
