Aviation Traffic Controller (ATC) - Offshore Operations

Eram Talent is on the lookout for an experienced Aviation Traffic Controller (ATC) - Offshore Operations to join our team. As an ATC, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft in offshore operations, coordinating takeoffs, landings, and air traffic. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Maintains radio contact with incoming/outgoing helicopter by providing them with general information about land facilities and other instructions from supervisor to helicopter pilot in order to maintain a safe loading and unloading of passengers.
2. To coordinate and carry out a variety of duties at the onshore Heliport to ensure the safe movement of passengers and freight through the airport and on to helicopters for their flights to AI-Khafji Joint Operations' offshore facilities while maintaining ongoing radio contact with the Helicopter crew.
3. Receives and prepares for the flight schedules to ensure all preparations before the flight are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
4. Regulates and controls all movement of helicopter by keeping contact radio communication with Pilot during the flight to ensure that all flights and positions are monitored.
5. Keeps a log book of all the movements, destination, flight records and operational statistics of all flights to ensure all activities are recorded for future reference.
6. Checks and tests aviation communication and navigation equipment to identify present or potential troubles in order to prepare maintenance/repair requests to supervisor for approval.
7. Provides radio communication and air traffic support for the fixed-wing aircraft using Company's airstrip in AI-Khafji.
8. Performs duty of Aviation Controller, Offshore at gathering Station if directed by Manager Terminal and Marine department.

Requirements

1. Valid air traffic control license and certification for offshore operations.
2. Graduate of an Aviation related Bachelor degree.
3. At least 5 years work experience in an aviation related field.
4. Knowledge of Aviation industry's rules & regulations.
5. With good understanding of aviation operations controlling, planning process and methodologies.
6. Excellent English communication skills both oral and written in Arabic & English.
7. Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
8. In-depth knowledge of air traffic control procedures, regulations, and equipment.
9. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
10. Attention to detail and strong situational awareness.
11. Proficiency in using air traffic control software and systems.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
