Aviation Specialist

To ensure compliance with National and International Aviation regulations while ensuring adherence to Company safety procedures and guidelines and provide advice accordingly. Assess in the development and implementation of Aviation section policies, process and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled.

Day-to-day Operations:

1. Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Aviation operation section to ensure that the work procedures are implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures.
2. Ensure that service providers submit monthly flight plans to Civil Aviation authorities in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, in order to acquire flight permits.
3. Plan and propose maintenance and upgrades of Aviation facilities and equipment as per National and International safety standards for Aviation.
4. Review and approve appropriate timing of periodical and non-periodical maintenance of Helicopters, set maintenance schedules, and notify all potential users on off-service periods or changes in flight schedule to ensure that all Aviation facilities are properly maintained.
5. Obtain the renewal of Helicopter utilization permits from GACA to ensure that the company processes concerned Civil Aviation approval for Helicopter license are renewed through rental service contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Special Diploma in Aviation.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Aviation with 5 years in a Helicopter flight operations position.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, especially in Microsoft Excel & Dashboard presentation.
