The Aviation Quality Control Specialist (US Army Aviation- PMO) AH-64 E / UH-60 M contributes input towards the development and implementation of a quality control, ground safety, and environmental program to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret or Confidential Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility, and to obtain a US Govt Secret or Confidential Clearance.
Valid US Passport is required.
Performs oversight and guidance to contractor personnel performing maintenance support actions for the RSLFAC. Monitors daily site-deployed contractor personnel to ensure compliance IAW with customers' ground and flight operating procedures. Assists contract personnel and approved government personnel in resolving problems. Provides lower-level technicians guidance regarding established procedures according to directives, quality procedures, work standards, and operational policies. Inspects and verifies proper completion and documentation of quality discrepancies. Must be able to lead small groups independently and provide oversight updates to the program and government leadership. Performs other qualified duties as required.
High school Diploma or Equivalent is the minimum education required. A minimum of seven (7) years of aircraft maintenance experience is required, ten (10) years is preferred, on the UH-60, AH-64 MDS Mission Design Series aircraft. Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance and operations experience on the UH-60M / AH-64E (MDS) aircraft, with at least three (3) years experience in a QA/QC Quality Control related position. Prefer completion of the US Army's 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course (formerly BNCOC), AMOC, or must possess a valid (FAA) A&P Certificate. AS9100 QMS Aerospace Standard quality program implementation and management experience desired. Valid Drivers License is required. Broad working knowledge of aircraft maintenance, quality control techniques and standards, FAA regulations, and US Army technical publications. Valid US Passport is required for travel to Saudi. Must be able to pass the Saudi (Igama) Visa requirements. US Govt Secret Clearance is required. Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required. Work locations to be assigned to one of the following locations in Saudi: (Riyadh/Dammam/KKMC/Tabuk and Khamis).

Able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds. Work may be outdoors in extreme weather conditions. May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine engine aircraft. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft. May be required to travel, based on operations needs of the program.
