Associate Logistics Specialist, Saudi Arabia

In this position, you will be part of Medtronic Global Deliver Logistics function, reporting to the Saudi Arabia Logistics Manager. As part of your role, you will ensure that the 3PLs (3rd Party Logistics Providers) meet their KPIs and SLAs, while proactively innovating ways to adapt to the rapid changes in the Saudi Healthcare Market.

The role demands robust reporting capabilities, an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and effective stakeholder engagement to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Monitor and review the performance and productivity of 3PL (3rd Party Logistics Provider) warehousing and transportation.
• Support the selection, onboarding, and offboarding of logistics service providers for the Medtronic Logistics Program.
• Inbound operation monitoring, issue resolution and reporting.
• Inventory management follow-up, execution of scrapping and PHO (Product Hold Order).
• Cycle count operation follow-up.
• Full-cycle outbound operations for dedicated customer segments.
• Coordinating with the 3PL’s (3rd Party Logistics Providers) to ensure correct PODs (Proof of Delivery) are collected and uploaded, while maintaining an accurate database to track progress.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Proficiency in SAP(WM), Microsoft Office and Power-BI.
• Strong data and analytics skills to drive informed decision making.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Structured thinking and adept problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Self-motivated, resilient and capable of thriving under pressure.

The ideal candidate should have work experience in the Medical Device or Pharma sectors, coupled with a background in 3PL Management. Additionally, they should possess a deep understanding of local healthcare delivery processes and providers. An industrial/systems engineering background is essential, along with strong analytic thinking skills.
