Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to invite applications for the position of Associate Director - Development (Sports Arena). This role is key in shaping the future of sports and entertainment in one of the most iconic destinations in Saudi Arabia. You will play an integral part in the planning and execution of an innovative sports arena project that promises to be a centerpiece of the Qiddiya vision.

As the Associate Director, you will oversee the development of the sports arena from the initial concept stage through to completion, ensuring that sustainable practices, cutting-edge technologies, and community needs are at the forefront of the project. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and various stakeholders to deliver a world-class sports facility.

1. Lead the development strategy for the sports arena project, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's overall vision and objectives.
2. Manage all phases of project development, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, and construction management.
3. Engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including sports organizations, government authorities, and community representatives.
4. Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget, implementing effective control measures to mitigate risks.
5. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and sustainability initiatives.
6. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
7. Foster a culture of innovation within the project team, promoting creative problem-solving and efficient workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in Development leadership roles with a focus on large-scale development of sporting assets such as Arenas and Stadiums
2. Strong knowledge of sports arena development is essential
3. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex sport Arena/Stadia projects from concept to execution
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
5. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve problems
6. Familiarity with sustainability practices and smart building technologies is a plus
7. Proficient in project management software and tools
