Job Role – Assistant Manager
Purpose:
Drive the execution of strategic initiatives.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager/ Management Trainee to join our team in Jeddah. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple functions, including administration, operations, sales, and marketing. The successful candidate will receive extensive training and exposure to international forwarding, regulated agent operations, and GSA activities, preparing them for a leadership role within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Support the coordination of internal and external meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
Operations:
- Learn and assist in the end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes and international forwarding.
- Gain insights into regulated agent operations and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency.
Sales & Marketing:
- Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Training & Development:
- Participate in structured training/ development programs to streamline international forwarding, regulated agent operations, and GSA activities.
- Work closely with senior management to understand goals and assist with execution of plans.
- Take on progressively challenging projects to develop leadership and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in administration, operations, sales, marketing, in cargo or a related field.
- Internships or part-time roles in logistics, supply chain, or customer service will be considered an advantage.
