Job description

Duties Performed/Major Responsibilities:

  1. Make an activity plan for Technical & Development Section.
  2. Ensure that the section has adequate resources.
  3. Monitor implementation of section planned activities and programs.
  4. Review and approve loss prevention and HSE policies, standards, instructions, and programs.
  5. Review and approve HSE training & awareness program.
  6. Review and approve HSE data, Safety KPI.
  7. Analyze data trends and recommend improvement action plans.
  8. Review client’s prequalification requirements.
  9. Review and approve 3rd party contractor safety submittals.
  10. Ensure that policies, standards, instructions, and programs are communicated to all stakeholders.
  11. Review and monitor reports of the section.
  12. Introduce a continual improvement plan for the Technical & Development Section.
  13. Submit relevant reports to CLPD Manager/Senior Manager.
  14. Stop work that poses danger to personnel and company property.
  15. Understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  16. Follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  17. Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.
  18. Keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  19. Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
  20. Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible personnel.
