Role Purpose

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on the quality and quantity of asset inventory which includes assets used for core business operation and maintenance as well as fleets and their movements.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

Asset Management:
- Monitors fleet movements and evaluates incoming fleet.
- Prepares control strategies to reduce risk and improve asset utilization, determines predictive strategies, and performs root cause failure analysis to reduce time and increase efficiency.
- Responsible for preparation and maintenance of asset management plans, including lists and hierarchies, identifying asset inventory and condition, calculating business risk evaluations, determining asset net present value and life cycle costs, and developing alternatives for cost-effective operations and maintenance and long-term investment.
- Establishes and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, building an effective asset risk mitigation program to improve asset reliability with reduced risk at optimized spending and capital investments.
- Supports condition assessment of existing assets and enhances capital improvement planning and budgeting.
- Works with operations and maintenance teams to compile asset inventory and condition data into a format to allow for engineering analysis of life-cycle costs and business risk evaluation.
- Monitors and communicates asset performance through reporting including life cycle analysis, asset performance analysis for capital and O&M funding, and other analysis required for engineering, operations, and maintenance.
- Prepares outgoing fleet.

Planning:
- Supports condition assessment of existing assets and enhances capital improvement planning and budgeting.
- Manages all sales engineers’ bookings.
- Prepares reports, estimates costs, presentations, and determines individual project needs.
- Prepares concepts and designs for sales engineers.
- Manages overall planning of repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Oversees progress of mobilization/demobilization.
- Monitors depot daily activities.
- Ensures delivery dates are managed and planned accordingly.
- Ensures timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.
- Conducts statistical and other analyses on asset condition, performance, and risk data.
- Compares current system performance against other similar industry benchmarks to establish best practices and improve system processes.

Technical/Customer Service:
- Manages communication between customers and technicians.
- Assists service team engineers to ensure highest levels of customer service.
- Represents the company in a professional manner.
- Processes all requests in accordance with the correct procedures.
- Supports services team including compiling data and production reports and statistics.
- Issues, reports, and closes service orders.
- Monitors and implements HSE policies.
- Develops program training material and coordinates training activities for new and existing employees.
- Monitors/receives emergency and breakdown calls from technicians, sales engineers, and customers.
- Coordinates closely with clients for any service-related concerns.
- Manages generator preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering.
