Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architectural Inspector to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. The Inspector shall check the quality of work in the project. Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract documents and specifications.
2. They must be completely familiar with the plans, general specifications, particular specifications, and construction methods for the phases of the work to which they have been assigned.
3. The Inspectors are responsible for the direct oversight of the performance of the Contractor on site, checking for conformance of the works with the contract documentation.
4. They will be coordinating daily with the Contractor’s Quality Engineers in charge of the packages of work to advise on the proper execution of the work.
5. Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writes daily diaries.
6. Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
7. Verifies only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
8. Assists with the development of job safety practices and reports.
9. Supports the creation of quality control procedures and reports.
10. Responds to the call backs in case of emergency at the project site.
11. Documents nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in architecture is required with typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
2. Requires proficiency in the application of Architectural standards, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in sketching and presentation.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Fluent in English.
3. Knowledge of basic computer applications to include and not limited to; Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
4. Ability to understand and comply with project requirements as applicable based on client and industry standards.
