Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of Schneider Electric's Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will act as the responsible commissioning engineer overseeing the installation, commissioning, and services of energy automation systems for assignments classified as medium commissioning complexity. You will manage the completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in performing FAT and SAT testing for energy automation systems.
2. Assist in defining project scope and performing project cost estimates.
3. Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with established company procedures.
4. Perform field investigations as required.
5. Prepare technical offers for small projects.
6. Coordinate and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
7. Develop projects that meet or exceed the divisional goals and objectives.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

1. A bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-3 years' experience.
2. Knowledge of energy automation systems and different communication protocols.
3. Communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
2. Limited understanding of energy automation systems and energy use.
3. Basic ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively and solicit input from others.
5. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
6. Ability to work effectively as a team member.
7. Basic understanding of project development processes.
