YOUR ROLE – WHAT TO EXPECT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apigee architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GCP, Apigee and architecture, coupled with expertise in Kubernetes, Unix, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, Docker, and DevOps principles. In detail, you will have the following activities:

1. Optimise APIs and API management processes: Be a key player in our customer projects and take on the analysis, design and development of modern APIs and API management processes.
2. Solve problems: Coordinate the parties involved in integration projects and support customers in evaluating new integration solutions and tools.
3. Coordinate customer projects: Advise and support our customers in evaluating API management solutions and hold the reins in the project.

YOUR SKILLS - WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

1. In-depth knowledge: Successfully completed university degree in the field of computer science or in comparable fields.
2. API Management: Ideally experience with API management solutions (e.g. Apigee, Kong, WSO2, MuleSoft, Azure API Management) and integration tools (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI, Istio).
3. Technical knowledge: Knowledge of Unix, Docker, Kubernetes or Google Cloud.
4. Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
7. GCP and Apigee certifications preferred.
