Aricrypta is seeking a smart, analytical, and enthusiastic Android Developer to collaborate with our customer onsite in Jeddah, KSA. The perfect prospect will possess the capacity and passion to work closely with both onsite and remote teams as well as vendors to deliver on schedule, high-quality performance.

Your main duties will be to design, develop, document, and test Android applications, and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the framework. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, business-level design, and quality product is necessary.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build fully functional Android applications and publish them to the Android App Stores.
2. Work with other developers and engineers to integrate backend system APIs.
3. Support the entire application lifecycle (design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain).
4. Develop technical design specifications and documentation for business requirements.
5. Work with the Scrum Team to plan system releases and Sprints/Iterations.
6. Design, develop, and release complex Android application components.
7. Communicate development status and escalate issues to management.
8. Lead, design, and build native applications for the Android platform.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
10. Research, analyze, and resolve complex customer issues and bugs.
11. Provide quality code and solutions, on time, with rigorous testing.

Skills Requirements

1. Minimum 3-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
2. 3-5 years of Android application development.
3. Deep understanding of the JDK, Android SDK, and related frameworks.
4. Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting.
5. Experienced in using source control.
6. Understanding of OOP, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
7. Experience working with essential technologies for the Android platform.
8. A passion for visual design and UX.
9. Team player with the ability to understand requirements.
10. Ability to work independently in various environments.
