2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Influence and grow Ma'aden's financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends.


3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualification:

B Degree (Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Economics)
Chartered Financial Analyst

Experience:

4 Years relevant experience
International experience preferred
Mergers and acquisitions preferred

  8. Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  9. Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  10. Active input regarding investment management strategy and ensuring optimal return on investments
  11. Active input regarding risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
  12. Track the performance of stocks and collect and prepare the data (in spreadsheets) so that it can be interpreted by clients and stockbrokers
  13. Develop, implement and maintain internal control systems and business practices
  14. Prepare management and board reports (trend analysis and economic indicators)
  15. Meet with investors to explain company decisions
  16. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  17. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  18. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
  19. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  20. Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
  21. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  22. Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools; drive digitalisation
  23. Recommend and participate in think tanks/special projects
