Performs limited assignments of specific tasks focused on monitoring compliance with established practices and analyzing problem areas of Maintenance issues. Assists top compliance officers in assuring safety, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency in the Saudi Airlines’ operations.
Accountabilities.
Share the responsibility of operational control for RII Program, Quality Control Inspection, Receiving Inspection, and Inspection Program.
Participate in initiating and approving changes to all associated processes. These efforts will be coordinated with the Chief Inspector.
Participate in laying out the details of inspection standards, methods, and procedures in accordance with GACA regulations.
Ensure that all inspections are performed on all completed work before it is released to service, and that the inspection records, reports, and forms used by maintenance providers are properly executed.
Oversee/Monitor the process and procedures of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies of maintenance providers.
Ensure that Service Provider Personnel are properly trained, qualified, and authorized for the accomplishment of Required Inspection Item (RII) procedures as described in Chapter 6-29 of this manual.
Oversee/Monitor the process of determining the serviceability of SVA aircraft/engine/part/component, at any level of inspections/tests, including "return to service."
Assure the overall quality of the maintenance log/recording requirements process.
Review, revise all new established and/or revised policies and procedures related to inspection.
Participate in analyses of the effectiveness of the inspection program and the appropriate compliance with standards.
Ensure that all inspection tools and measuring equipment used by inspection personnel are calibrated and the records system properly maintained.
Assist in reviews, evaluates, modifies, and approves RII list based on CASS inputs.
Ensures SVA aircraft/components are maintained by trained and qualified technicians/inspectors with current manuals.
Education.
(BS): High School with related experience / Diploma in (Mechanic with both Airframe & Power plant ratings/Avionics).
Basic Requirements.
Inspection qualification and experience in Aircraft types (A320, A330, B777, B787).
