Key Responsibilities

General Accountabilities

• Policies & Processes:
  • Adhere to and promote the organization's policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and controlled workflows.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in systems, processes, and practices to optimize business operations and enhance productivity.
  • Encourage and support the team in implementing relevant policies and best practices.

Technical Accountabilities

• AI Use Case Development:
  • Lead the identification, design, and implementation of AI use cases that deliver business value and enhance product offerings.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, ensuring thorough planning and effective execution.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging AI technologies and methodologies, contributing to the company's intellectual property.
• Computer Vision:
  • Guide the development and deployment of computer vision solutions tailored to specific business use cases.
  • Oversee the integration of computer vision models into products to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in computer vision techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP):
  • Develop and implement NLP use cases in line with strategic objectives and product requirements.
  • Ensure seamless deployment and integration of NLP models into various product offerings.
  • Stay current with NLP advancements, guiding the adoption of innovative techniques to enhance AI capabilities.
• Data Science:
  • Lead the development of data science frameworks to support strategic decision-making and drive business insights.
  • Oversee the analysis of large datasets, ensuring the extraction of actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage data science projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Research and Development:
  • Drive AI research initiatives to identify new opportunities for product innovation.
  • Lead the team in developing creative AI solutions to expand the company's product portfolio and IP assets.
  • Engage in continuous learning by contributing to AI research papers and staying updated on industry developments.
• Project Management & Strategy:
  • Develop and oversee project plans, ensuring that AI initiatives align with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the AI development team.

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience: 4 to 6 years in AI/ML, particularly in computer vision and data science.
• Computer Vision: Expertise in algorithms for object classification, detection, tracking, segmentation, OCR, and medical imaging (X-ray, MRI).
• Mathematics & Statistics: Strong analytical skills to interpret academic research and translate concepts into practical applications.
• Data Science & Analytics: Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics, machine learning, text mining, time series modeling, recommender systems, and deep learning.
• Programming: Hands-on experience with R, Python, C, C++, and core Java.
• AI Frameworks & Deployment: Skilled in TensorFlow, Docker, Kubernetes, and securing AI models for deployment.
• Technologies: Familiarity with NVIDIA NGC/DeepStream, big data technologies, and smart city AI solutions.
• NLP & AI: Experience in natural language processing and AI for traffic violation detection is a plus.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related engineering fields.
• Master's preferred in the same disciplines.
• Certifications in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Data Science are highly valued.
