Essential Responsibilities
Capable of handling and assembly of centrifugal pumps (vertical and horizontal types).
Ability to use and read measurement tools; micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
Maintain inspection records as received.
Capable of performing pump installation, driver to pump alignment, base plate marking, drilling & tapping, and piping assembly.
PUMP REPAIR: Dismantling, inspection, and repair recommendations of various centrifugal pumps.
Occasionally assist with field service activities at customer’s site location.
Work with QA to develop service and/or repair procedures – if required.
Should have technical and product knowledge in order to assist customers with their requirements.
Position Requirements
Experience: 5 years minimum in rotating equipment, preferable pumps.
Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret international standards, customer specifications, and technical procedures.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of pump technology.
Good communication skills.
Ability to perform tasks individually and within groups.
Knowledge of the corrective action process.
Hands-on experience in service/repair/overhaul.
Capable of executing duties with limited supervision.
