The Administrator - Business Development is responsible for supporting the business development efforts of the company by managing administrative tasks, coordinating BD and Tendering initiatives, and assisting in the development of strategies to drive growth and expand market presence. This role ensures that business development activities are well-organized and effectively executed, contributing to the company’s success in acquiring new clients and enhancing its market position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain and update client databases, lead tracking systems, and business development records.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, proposals, and presentations.

Marketing and Sales Coordination

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and project activities.
  • Support in conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.

Client and Partner Relations

  • Assist in managing relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring timely follow-up and excellent service.
  • Coordinate client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Support in handling client inquiries and provide information about services and capabilities.

Business Development Strategy

  • Support the development of business development strategies and goals in collaboration with senior management.
  • Support in tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of business development initiatives and report on performance metrics.
  • Assist in identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of business development activities, including reports, proposals, and contracts.
  • Generate regular reports on business development performance, including lead generation.

Administrative Tasks

  • Manage office supplies and resources related to business development activities.
  • Organize and coordinate business development activities, meetings, and workshops.
  • Ensure that all business development documentation is kept up-to-date and organized.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Supporting the business development team in achieving growth targets and expanding market presence.
  • Ensuring effective coordination and execution of marketing and business development activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to business development efforts.
  • Providing excellent support to clients and partners, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

Person Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field required.
  • Additional certifications or training in business development or marketing are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, sales techniques, and understanding of business development processes and strategies.
  • Knowledge of the catering industry and market trends is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in office software and business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate activities effectively.
  • Previous experience in a business development, marketing, or administrative role and experience in the catering or hospitality industry is advantageous.
