Reports to: Dean of College of Business

Location: Alfaisal University - Riyadh

The employee will support and assist the dean in a variety of tasks: processing various documents and data using MS Office programs; arranging meetings, taking notes and preparing minutes; disseminating information to faculty, students, and other stakeholders in AU; and monitoring and making required changes for the CoB website. The employee will also welcome and guide CoB guests and respond to inquiries and requests (emails and telephone calls) concerning CoB faculty and programs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the dean’s office and be attentive
  • Alert and multi-tasked
  • Plan meetings, attend, take notes, and prepare accurate minutes
  • Maintain an organized filing system (electronic and hard copy)
  • Gather data (record of events, photos/videos, contracts, press releases, enrollment, complaints)
  • Extract information from data filed or from other AU offices such as SA, Finance, Facilities
  • Work professionally and efficiently with other stakeholders in AU such as HR, GR, SA, IT, Finance, PR-Marketing, and Facility
  • Coordinate and cooperate with CoB faculty and other CoB staff members
  • Monitor and implement changes for the CoB website
  • Collaborate with other CoB offices on developing marketing booklets, flyers, and press releases
  • Receive and welcome CoB guests, including newly hired staff and faculty
  • Answer and/or direct all inquiries coming to the dean’s office without delay
  • Plan and prepare orientation programs for new CoB faculty and staff
  • Assist the dean in preparing the agenda for the Advisory Council or AU Board of Trustees meeting

Internal Relationships

Work primarily with the dean and also with CoB staff, faculty, and students.

External Relationships

Work professionally and efficiently with all related AU offices such as HR, GR, IT, SA, Facility, Finance, and the President’s Office.
