Position Overview: The Admin Assistant in the Geophysics Department provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the department. This role involves organizing and coordinating various administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and assisting with project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for department staff.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to geophysical projects.
Maintain departmental records, files, and databases.
Coordinate logistics for departmental events, workshops, and field activities.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
Support budget tracking and procurement processes.
Assist in the onboarding of new staff and interns within the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
2-3 years of experience in an administrative, procurement, logistics, or relevant role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
