Job Description:

In Saudi Arabia, Mapa is seeking an accounting specialist to join our dynamic team. As an accounting specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, vendor payments, and client invoices.
2. Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and ensure the integrity of the financial records.
3. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and cash account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
4. Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
5. Financial Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, and contracts.
6. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets as needed.
7. Compliance: Stay informed about Saudi Arabian accounting regulations and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
8. Support Audits: Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Analytical Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
5. Language: Fluent in English and Arabic is preferred.
6. Technology Proficiency: Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
7. Team Player: A collaborative mindset, working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
