The role involves preparing financial reports, managing accounting operations through the ERP system, handling taxes, and overseeing cash flow to ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations.
Generic Accountabilities
Adhere to division policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls to meet strategic and legislative requirements while delivering consistent, quality, and cost-effective services.
Prepare all division reports in alignment with RER's requirements, policies, and quality standards, including relevant findings and recommendations.
Job-Specific Accountabilities
Conduct accounting tasks such as processing revenues, expenditures, general ledger activities, invoicing, and tax management to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Communicate with banks to rectify errors, obtain statements, manage payroll payment files, and handle transfer requests for effective accounts payable management.
Develop and balance financial and tax statements, including the balance sheet, cash flow statement, and profit and loss statements (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual).
Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure cash requirements are met, avoiding shortages. Generate reports on cash operations with recommendations for performance improvement.
Initiate RER's balance sheet to achieve liquidity and asset-liability matching objectives within approved risk and capital usage limits.
Maintain communication with all relevant external and internal stakeholders (such as banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities) with the highest standards of business ethics, promptly addressing critical issues to ensure effective service delivery for RER.
Education & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
