Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Management and supervision of general accounting functions, including accounts payable, debtors, accounting books, transactions between subsidiaries.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Preparing routine and non-routine daily records and preparing monthly financial tables.
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders and processing tax payments and returns.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and documents and comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Conduct analytical reviews of budget changes and income statements at the end of each month and submit them to the Finance Director.
- Manage the fixed assets system to calculate additions, deductions, and depreciation.
- Evaluate current procedures and recommend improvements for future operations.
- Prepare and submit all required returns to both local tax authorities and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that company operations comply with local authority legislation, policies, or regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analytical results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years in accounting.
- Arabic language and English proficiency required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in SAP and other accounting software.
- Advanced experience in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) preferred.
