Accountant

What's the Role

In your role as an Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team in general accounting functions. You will report directly to the Tax & Accounting Manager and assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with Saudi tax laws. Your key tasks will include handling purchase-to-payment processes, collaborating with auditing firms, and supporting the shared services team. You will also play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions and contribute to the development of the company's financial practices and processes in KSA.

What does the role involve

As an Accountant, you will be involved in a variety of financial activities such as managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax laws. You will be responsible for performing general accounting duties, supporting internal audits, handling purchase-to-payment processes, and working with auditing firms. Additionally, you will support the shared services team in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department. You will be required to maintain accurate financial records and work closely with the finance and operations teams to drive efficiency within financial operations.

What you need is:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
3. Strong understanding of Saudi tax laws and financial regulations
4. Experience in managing purchase-to-payment processes
5. Experience working with auditing firms and the shared services team
6. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel
7. Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating strong communication skills
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
10. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
11. High learning agility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
