Ac Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (split units, central AC, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
2. Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
3. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
4. Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
5. Replace or clean air filters, check refrigerant levels, and recharge systems when necessary
6. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
7. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
8. Communicate with clients to explain issues and provide cost and time estimates
9. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

Skills:

1. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of split units, central AC, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
2. Troubleshooting Ability: Skilled at diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues quickly and efficiently.
3. Reading Blueprints & Schematics: Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams to guide installations and repairs.
4. Preventive Maintenance: Capable of performing scheduled checks and routine servicing to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment life.
5. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of HVAC safety procedures, refrigerant handling, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
6. Tool Proficiency: Experience using HVAC tools such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, leak detectors, and multimeters.
7. Communication Skills: Able to clearly explain technical problems and solutions to clients or supervisors in a professional manner.
8. Customer Service: Courteous and responsive to customer needs, with a focus on quality service and satisfaction.
9. Adaptability: Able to work in various environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, outdoors) and handle emergency call-outs.
10. Time Management: Efficient in handling multiple tasks, completing jobs within time frames, and maintaining accurate service records.
