WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Under the scope of the Leasing Business Unit within Santander Consumer Finance HQ, reporting to the Remarketing Pricing & Channel Steering HQ Lead, the Remarketing Pricing & Channel Steering Specialist will support and supervise the implementation and follow-up of the Remarketing Pricing and Channel Steering guidelines, tools, and processes at the different local Business Units. This includes analyzing used car market behaviors and trends, as well as the performance of the local Business Units regarding Remarketing Pricing & Sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and supervision of used car pricing, channeling, and stock management guidelines, processes, tools, and initiatives.
  • Analyze used car market trends, prices, stocks, and sales volumes across European countries, sharing relevant data within the organization and providing proposals both globally and locally.
  • Monitor local units' Remarketing performance, propose actions as necessary, and follow up.
  • Support local Remarketing teams in managing used car pricing, deciding on the best sales channel for each vehicle, monitoring used car stocks, and proposing actions as necessary.
  • Provide insights about used car sales prices performance and market behavior for residual values setting and portfolio assessments.
  • Facilitate and drive solutions across the organization, working with legal, risk, Remarketing logistics, car preparation, sales, and technology teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that align with corporate strategy.
  • Participate in the definition of global initiatives and projects.
  • Push for new ideas and initiatives implementation, with a clear view of market trends, alternative scenarios, and possibilities.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position within used car pricing / residual value functions.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate program completed) or equivalent.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert in pricing.
  • Advanced analytical skills; familiar with statistical models.
  • Good knowledge of the used car market environment both locally and internationally.
  • Wide overview of the entire Remarketing process.
  • Advanced level of English.
