Product Engineer

Our technology has been applied in more than 100 projects worldwide in very different applications for the Electric, Defence and Aerospace, Industrial, Automotive and Space sectors.
These projects have made us a strategic technology partner for the worldwide Prime contractors in these sectors.
We are looking for a Product Engineer responsible for coordinating the technical definition and development of critical communications devices, optimizing cost/time/quality results.
He will participate in product development activities while managing the planning of other people's tasks and monitoring the progress of the product development plan.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

1. Transform general specifications of business managers into concrete requirements to be met by products.
2. Conduct detailed analysis of companies and/or products that may be competitors.
3. Prepare the documents established by the company quality management system for product development projects.
4. Coordinate the tasks of multiple developers.
5. Prepare activity reports for company managers.
6. Analyze and prospect new technologies to be integrated into products, ensuring innovation and competitiveness in alignment with market trends and company goals.
7. Define hardware and software architectures at system level.
8. Take part in equipment certification processes according to different product standards.
9. Maintain and update all product-related documentation and associated materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
2. Telecommunications engineer / Electronic engineer.
3. Minimum of 5 years experience developing similar tasks.
4. Knowledge of network protocols.
5. Knowledge of software/hardware architectures and equipment certification processes.
6. Knowledge of FPGAs would be an added value.
7. Ability to lead teams towards the achievement of objectives.
8. Good time management skills.
9. Good interpersonal skills.
10. Strong customer orientation.
11. Proactivity in proposing improvements in processes and products.
