We are looking for a candidate to lead the development and industrialization of electronic components for hybrid vehicles, ensuring quality, cost, and deadlines. This role involves planning activities, managing suppliers, defining validation plans, and improving processes. The candidate will also report project progress and manage parts obsolescence.
What you will do
- Manage a battery system in hybrid powertrain solutions from innovation to mass production and aftersales.
- Develop a strategic roadmap to balance technology, quality, and cost.
- Oversee system definition, design, validation, and mass production.
- Ensure system development meets technical requirements from various stakeholders.
- Follow the V-CYCLE Design process throughout the lifecycle.
- Lead system engineers to translate requirements into components and software.
- Manage organ sizing, validation, and new function development.
- Ensure consistency and simplification across organs and applications, working closely with project and component teams.
What we are looking for
- Experience: At least 5 years in the automobile industry, experience with Horse or Renault in product development and industrialization.
- Skills: Leadership and transversal management, technical knowledge of power electronics and electrical machines.
- Education: Higher technical studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, or Transport.
- Professional Experience:
- Development and testing in electronics.
- Project management.
- Personal Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Initiative and result-oriented.
- Languages: English required, French highly valued.
