We are currently seeking an Engine Calibration Manager responsible for ensuring quality, cost, and timelines for achieving the various design requirements negotiated with the engine project. This role involves ensuring the best compromise in the technical definition of the powertrain system.

What you will do

  • Engine Calibration: Ensure quality, cost, and timelines to meet negotiated design requirements, achieving the best compromise in the technical definition of the powertrain system.
  • Reports and Test Trips: Prepare milestone and end-of-project summaries, ensure reporting to management, and organize calibration-related test trips. For serial life, handle LUP QC questions within the LIMAP scope.
  • Requirements and Technical Definition: Collect and formalize design requirements and technical definition elements, deploying them to tuning specialists. Build the calibration roadmap with calibration and client performance experts.
  • Economic Management: Manage economic quotations for calibration activities, provide economic entry tickets, and track economic convergence of the project.
  • Calibration Schedule: Establish and manage a calibration schedule according to project standards, ensuring calibration convergence to achieve expected performance.
  • Meetings and Follow-up: Organize regular meetings with experts to manage calibration convergence towards design requirements and monitor supplier calibration progress.
  • Documentation and Quality: Draft necessary quality process documents, define needs for test engines, vehicles, and parts, and supervise internal calibration reviews.

What we are looking for

  • Seniority (Years of Experience): Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Education: Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering or other engineering degrees related to the automotive sector preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in tuning activities.
  • Languages: English mandatory, French highly appreciated.
