Product Manager, Product Factory

About the opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Product Manager - Product Factory to join the Core Systems team in disrupting the Core Banking technology standards with highly configurable, modular and automated solutions that enable rapid product launches along with automated compliance and data flows. The Core Systems segment is split between our Barcelona, Berlin and Vienna offices, which are the main product & tech hubs for N26 globally.

As a Product Manager in the Product Factory Group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the product catalogue and product engines of N26. This function is critical to N26’s ability to not only provide our current functionality but to also offer new financial products in a competitive and scalable manner.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for the implementation of self-service product configuration and orchestration capabilities as a part of the overall N26 architecture.
• Partner with stakeholders across N26 to define your team goals and drive it to achieve success.
• Work with other product managers, designers and engineers across the organization to improve the core systems offering of N26.
• Own the product catalogue strategy, product roadmap and planning.
• Ensure product rollouts are delivered successfully by working cross-domain and cross-functionally with local market teams, marketing, operations, compliance, and engineering.

What you need to be successful:

• 2+ years experience in Product Management ideally gained in a FinTech, banking environment, core banking providers (or similar), or online retail.
• Experience with product catalogues as well as API products.
• STEM, business, economics undergraduate. MBA, MS or equivalent would be a plus.
• Autonomous and adaptive operator with an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive for change and innovation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent technical and data acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies, APIs, programming languages, and databases.
• Previous experience dealing with high engaged third party providers and working with third party vendors is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of agile product development and delivery.
