A Day in the Life

Gain the opportunity to be at the forefront of the future of electrophysiology. As a Technical Consultant for our Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team, you will have a direct impact on advancing patient care through Medtronic’s technologies and therapies. We are dedicated to leading the market with our Affera Mapping and Ablation System, innovating cutting-edge ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and traditional electrophysiology (EP) products.

Join our team and be part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality and affordable care around the world. This position will be based in Germany and will be a Remote position. This position also offers the chance to work across Germany and, at times, Western Europe. With travel comprising 80-100% of the role, you will gain invaluable experience in diverse markets and build a strong international network.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Plan programmes alongside the Sales Manager and other groups to train customers.
  2. Provide technical support to customers regarding CAS products and procedures.
  3. Support sales and marketing teams during presentations and introductions of new products and therapies.
  4. Report all account, market, and competitive information, trends, and metrics.
  5. Collate and report all customer feedback, product and legal issues, and customer complaints from product-related events.
  6. Carry out all administrative duties, such as regularly providing activity reports to the Sales Manager.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
  2. Capable of working independently and collaboratively on projects.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
  4. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  5. Experience in the medical device industry, including a hospital operating room environment, is highly valued. An additional advantage is any knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and products.
