At E.ON, data capabilities are split into two pillars: “data as an asset to innovation” and “data usages as i.e. AI and data analytics”. Both capabilities are organized in separate units. You, as a Technical Data Governance Manager (f / m / d), will focus on the pillar “data as an asset to innovation” and design and roll-out data governance & management capabilities across multiple digital technologies, platforms, and business units that support the implementation of our data strategy. In this role, you will define and technically operationalize processes that support data-governance and actionable compliance incorporation as well as growth of the organization’s capabilities and skills to manage data assets systematically along its life cycle.
You will be part of the central Data Architecture & Governance team. In this function, you will be in close collaboration with various data and technical teams (e.g. from data platforms and related projects) and our key stakeholders on the central level such as e.g. Digital Strategy, Data Protection, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, as well as at the business units level across Europe. Furthermore, you will be supporting multiple business units of the E.ON Group along their data governance and data strategy journey.
