We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer (m/d/f) to work in Tyrol, Austria for a couple of our major clients. This is a great opportunity to put your technical skills to use and develop them further. If you are fluent in German with strong DeltaV skills and have a proven understanding of the automation environment and want to learn more, this role might be for you!

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • To develop functional and design specifications for our control systems (hardware and software) under supervision of the Lead Engineer and in collaboration with customer.
  • To perform design studies and quality documents for projects according to the project specifications and in line with the applicable procedures and quality plans.
  • The configuration of software applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV.
  • To perform internal tests and customer acceptance tests in-house and at customer site.
  • Provide commissioning, start-up support, after sales service and training for our clients.
  • Development of the required technical project documentation.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering.
  • 3+ years in a control engineering project environment.
  • Previous experience of working in the Process Automation environment and technical skills in control system engineering.
  • Knowledge of control system design, control systems HW cabinet design and assembly, software system design, software implementation, software testing.
  • Good interpersonal skills having the ability to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to other world areas for training or business trips is necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • A valid car driving license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Any other European language is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a matrix organization.
