Job Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary and professional leadership of the financial accounting team consisting of 10 employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and proper accounting in accordance with UGB, US-GAAP, and tax law.
  • Optimizing accounting processes for efficient workflows.
  • Responsibility for the accounting part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Preparation of the UGB annual financial statements, VAT returns, energy tax refunds, etc.
  • Participation in funding, monthly reporting, and preparation of the tax balance.
  • Coordination of internal and external auditors.
  • Optimization of the internal control system (IKS) and internal compliance guidelines for the entire legal entity.

What we are looking for:

  • Several years of professional experience in accounting/bookkeeping at a company, in auditing, or with a tax advisor is essential.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP.
  • Leadership strength, teamwork, communication skills, accuracy, structured working style, and initiative.

Your preferred qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration with a focus on accounting is an advantage.
  • Relevant courses, further training, examinations, and certifications are beneficial.
  • Very good German and English language skills.

We are committed to offering a fair and attractive compensation package of €80,000. Overpayment is common based on relevant experience and qualifications.
