Director Planning and Operations (d/f/m)

Responsibilities:

  • Engages with executive bodies, preparing, developing content, and acting as sparring partner for SLT-1 / SLT-2 members.
  • Leads and independently owns a small portfolio of strategy projects prioritized by the Sandoz Group, the CEO, and the Executive Committee including scoping, content creation, and stakeholder management confirming major milestones at program level.
  • Assists, communicates, and fosters collaboration within the leadership team in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Establishes and manages robust governance for the programs to ensure an effective execution monitoring framework.
  • Provides transparency into challenges, risks, and issues at a program level, ensuring appropriate remediation and/or course correction.
  • Ensures robust change management and communications input throughout the programs.
  • Short term focus on the overall transition in Germany and Region Europe, during the transformation, collaborating closely with other global/regional workstreams and acting as a link to the Sandoz Germany organization.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • University degree or various degrees in science and/or business.
  • 8+ years experience in leading strategic initiatives and PMO, preferred consulting experience and strategy background.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability and confidence to influence and communicate with stakeholders across different levels in the organization.
  • Resilience, ability to manage change.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), German language is a plus.
