Backend Software Engineer – AI Solutions

Our partner helps enterprises execute AI and Data strategies, driving digital transformations through expertise in strategy, architecture, cloud engineering, AI, and machine learning.

They have asked us to find a top Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain systems powering AI solutions. Collaborating with ML and software engineers, you’ll create scalable microservices and backend infrastructure, translating business needs into technical solutions.

What the day-to-day looks like:

• Develop cloud-native apps with Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Write scalable, maintainable Python code
• Design and implement REST APIs using FastAPI
• Ensure quality with unit testing and CI/CD
• Work with databases (Neo4j, MongoDB, Redis)
• Collaborate with frontend engineers
• Apply DevOps best practices for deployment

• 3+ years in backend software development
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of Neo4j, MongoDB, Redis
• Familiarity with frontend tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Hands-on in OOP and large-scale architecture
• Experience in Agile/Scrum
• Track record in consulting end customers in English (French and/or German is an advantage)
