Product Manager Measurement Technology for Particle and Gas Emissions (f/m/d)

Our business unit offers a comprehensive product and technology portfolio for particle measurement and portable emission measurement systems. We cover a wide range of engine emissions applications, including motor vehicles, rail vehicles, ships, and aircraft. In addition, brake and tire emissions and air quality monitoring are also part of our portfolio. With our state-of-the-art measuring instruments and vehicle testing solutions, we support our customers in complying with the latest global emissions regulations.

As a product manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product strategies, analyzing the market, and continuously optimizing our products in line with customer requirements. You will work closely with various departments to develop innovative solutions and meet our customers' needs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product line responsibility in the field of particle and gas measurement technology
• Development and implementation of the product line strategy
• Global market and competition analysis as well as the recognition of market and customer needs
• Development of product requirements for new products and for continuous product optimization (requirements management)
• Continuous monitoring and optimization of product manufacturing costs
• Preparation of sales, marketing and product-specific documents to support sales and customers
• Coordinator for the development of customer solutions for specific applications
• Collaboration on the product portfolio strategy and the annual R&D plan
• Close collaboration with development, purchasing, manufacturing, service, marketing, and sales

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences) with a focus on industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in product management, preferably with a technical measuring instrument background
• Basic knowledge in the field of engine development and application is an advantage
• Knowledge in the field of exhaust gas measurement and particle measurement technology is desirable
• Intercultural competence and lateral leadership skills
• Product strategy thinking with a technical and economic focus and a high level of implementation expertise
• Strong customer focus, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
• Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for business up to a maximum of 20 percent worldwide

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €70,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
