We are representing a cutting-edge Hospitality firm, actively seeking a Senior Rails Engineer to join their team remotely in Germany or within Europe.

In this role, you'll be a senior member of the Rails team, where leading by example is essential. You'll also enjoy getting hands-on with exciting new products and technologies!

Your Experience:

• Willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional, product-focused team, actively participating in the conceptualization of future features.
• Strong coder with deep technical knowledge of software development using Rails.
• Necessary experience with Hotwire, Turbo, and front-end development.
• Strong software architecture & data modeling skills, with the ability to base engineering decisions on product vision.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
• Thorough and systematic approach to problem-solving and debugging.
• Academic training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.

Ideally, you also have:

• Fluency in modern cloud environments: you can easily navigate around AWS and interpret APM data. Observability is a familiar concept to you.
• Strong SQL skills that go beyond SELECTs and JOINs.
