We’re hiring a Head of Commercial Finance Business Partnering to collaborate with our department leaders on financial budgeting, controlling and decision-making. This is a leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about analyzing and combining complex data and translating it into actionable insight for our various functional executives. The role would suit someone currently in a Head of role looking to bring impact and continuous improvement. It would also be a fantastic growth opportunity for an experienced/senior Team Lead looking to make the next move in their career.

Your impact

• Sparring partner to the executive leadership team on defining high-level cost targets for each functional department.
• Close collaboration with all department heads to draw up itemized, bottom-up cost plans for our annual financial budget (headcount and non-headcount items).
• Monthly check-ins with department heads to evaluate actual vs. budget performance and to identify mitigants in case of any budget overruns.
• Quarterly cost re-forecasting based on trending of actual performance.
• Continuous effort to identify potential efficiency gains from a cost perspective e.g. through digitalization initiatives and/or change of existing processes.
• Assist department heads in the negotiation of vendor contracts.
• Partner with the executive team on key business initiatives, from pricing strategy to market expansion.
• Drive performance through robust cost and margin analysis and scenario planning.
• Lead a high-performing finance team focused on strategic business partnering.
• Develop tools and processes that bring clarity to business performance and improve decision-making.

What you bring

• Minimum of 6 years work experience in finance-related functions, with strong exposure to commercial finance/ controlling topics.
• Experience of managing a team with an interest in developing and coaching others.
• Strong commercial finance/controlling/business partnering experience in fast-paced, international environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to translate financial insights into clear business recommendations.
• Confidence in building and presenting financial models, business cases, and forecasts.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.

Bouns if you have

• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business models.
• Background in digital platforms or people development solutions.
