Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) at natif.ai, you play a vital role in pushing the capabilities of our intelligent document processing technology. You leverage 15 petaflops of compute power to drive your innovations. You stay on the cutting edge by following the latest research trends, while at the same time you never have to worry about data limitations with our massive, high-quality datasets. Your main tasks are:

• You train and refine neural networks, pushing the limits of what document-AI can achieve
• You work with us on the core of our document understanding technology based on computer vision and natural language processing
• You stay updated with the latest trends in Machine Learning and implement and improve cutting-edge Machine Learning models
• You work as part of a cross-functional team to drive the development of new features and products, from concept to deployment

Your profile

• You are a Machine Learning Engineer with all your heart, an AI-craft(wo)man, a nerd, a geek or an AI-artist
• You hold a degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science or a related field; if you have a PhD this is a plus
• You have a proven track record of delivering machine learning solutions, particularly in computer vision, and possess comprehensive understanding of deep learning architectures (CNNs, diffusion models, transformers)
• You have a strong foundation in software engineering and are proficient in Python
• You have hands-on experience with common Machine Learning libraries and frameworks like PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, OpenCV, NumPy, HuggingFace, etc.
• You are open-minded and willing to further push the boundaries of document-AI
• You are fluent in German and/or English
