Project Management
As a Site Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee manufacturing activities at an international shipyard. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, develop operational plans, and represent the company to clients and stakeholders.
Key Tasks:
- Execute manufacturing activities for new naval ships within defined quality, budget, and timeline parameters.
- Develop and monitor operational plans and align them with project targets.
- Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
- Create and enforce local policies and procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Lead site teams to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and specifications.
- Foster a synchronized, efficient, and high-performing team culture.
- Liaise with clients and professional associations to represent the company.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes.
Knowledge & Education
- Bachelor’s degree (EQF6) or equivalent in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience; OR Master’s degree (EQF7) with 3-5 years of experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of production methods and techniques, particularly in shipbuilding.
- Proficiency in planning and operational management techniques.
Experience
- Proven expertise in managing complex manufacturing projects in shipbuilding.
- Strong leadership background with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with international manufacturing environments and processes.

- German language skills mandatory; proficient in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work internationally for extended periods.
